Gov. Manchin proposes to cut Grants in Aid for libraries. This will cut the library's (Raleigh County & Branches) budget by $25,202.
Please contact and encourage our legislators to support the libraries and not cut our budget. We need your help! This will really hurt the libraries in WV, if this is passed there will be loss of staff, less money for books, movies, and supplies, etc. |
May 6, 7 and 8th will be our Book Sale dates During March & April as books are donated for our sale - patrons giving to the book sale will receive a chance to win a special prize. This prize will be awarded during the Book Sale on May 7, 2010 |
